Terms of service

These terms cover your use of the Gatesys SSH app, your account at gatesys.ai and the Pro plan, all provided by Gatesys.ai. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

The app

The app is licensed under the licence that ships with it. The Free plan is free forever and needs no account. You are responsible for the servers you connect to and for having permission to access them.

Your account

• Give a real email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Pro may be active on one device at a time.
• Don’t misuse the service: no attacks on it, no reselling licences, no automated sign-ups.

Pro, trials and billing

• Each account may use one Pro trial of 3 months. Creating accounts to get more trials is not allowed.
• After the trial, Pro costs $20 per year, billed in advance and renewed yearly until you cancel. Prices exclude taxes, which are added where required.
• Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, and Polar’s buyer terms apply to the purchase.
• Cancel any time from the billing portal. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then the account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.
• If you are not happy, ask for a refund within 14 days of a charge at [email protected].

AI features

Farabi and the other AI features run on the model runtime you choose, under that provider’s terms. Model output can be wrong. The app rates the risk of suggested commands and asks before running them, but you decide what runs on your servers and you are responsible for it. Review commands and changes before you apply them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep gatesys.ai available, but it may occasionally be down. A licence keeps working offline for 14 days. We may change or discontinue features; if we make a change that takes away something you paid for, you may cancel and get a pro-rata refund.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, after telling you why where we can.

Disclaimer and liability

The app and service are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or downtime of your systems, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
