Billing

Gatesys Pro costs $20 a year after the 3-month free trial. Payments go through Polar, which handles checkout, tax and receipts. You manage everything from your account on gatesys.ai.

Subscribe #

1. Sign in on the website and open your account’s billing page, gatesys.ai/account/billing.
2. Click Subscribe. You are taken to Polar’s checkout.
3. Enter your payment details there and confirm.
4. You return to the billing page on gatesys.ai.

A device activated with your account’s plan picks up the subscription at its next daily licence check. To pick it up now, open Settings › Account and click Check now. If the licence card already reads Expired, sign in and click Use my account’s plan instead. See Sign in and licence.

Subscribing during the trial #

Subscribing early never shortens your trial. The first charge lands on the day the trial ends, so you can set it up whenever suits you and still get the full 3 months.

Polar is the merchant of record #

Polar sells the subscription on behalf of Gatesys.ai. That means Polar:

• Calculates and collects VAT or sales tax where it applies.
• Issues your invoices and receipts.

Gatesys.ai never sees your card details.

Manage or cancel #

1. Open your account’s billing page on gatesys.ai.
2. Click the link to the billing portal. It opens Polar’s customer portal.
3. Update your payment method, download receipts, or cancel.

You can cancel at any time. After you cancel, Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then your account drops back to Free. Nothing is removed, and every Free feature keeps working. See Plans.

If a payment fails #

If a renewal payment does not go through, Polar retries it, and Pro keeps working while it does. Update your payment method in the billing portal to settle it.

Deleting your account #

You can delete your account from gatesys.ai/account. While a paid subscription is set to renew, deletion is blocked: cancel the subscription first.
